HISTORY

Vickery Meadow is centrally located just east of North Central Expressway between East Northwest Highway and Royal Lane. Vickery Meadow was first developed in the early 1970’s as a multifamily community designed for single living. Today, Vickery Meadow is a bustling community with a diverse mix of families, retirees, and singles who are taking advantage of the many neighborhood amenities. Concerned property owners established the Vickery Meadow Improvement District in 1993. The District is granted a special tax assessment on all real property in Vickery Meadow. The taxes generated from this assessment can only be utilized for services and improvements within the defined Vickery Meadow Improvement District.

MISSION

The Vickery Meadow Improvement District’s mission is to provide a safe, appealing neighborhood for families, businesses, and property owners; thereby, improving the quality of life for everyone in Vickery Meadow. The District is committed to providing special supplemental services relating to advertising, promotion, health and sanitation, public safety, security, business recruitment, economic development, and recreation.
