VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
The Vickery Meadow Improvement District (VMID) has many opportunities for volunteers to participate in neighborhood events and programs. Opportunities also exist for assisting active committees and mentoring/tutoring youths at Vickery Meadow schools. If you are interested in volunteering for any of these activities please contact the VMID office. A list of some of the volunteer duties are listed below:
Spring Clean Volunteer Duties
- Pick up and bag trash
- Remove graffiti
- Plant flowers
- Remove unwanted tree limbs
- Rake and bag leaves
- Hide eggs
- Face painting
- Monitor / Judge coloring contest
- Monitor / Judge egg decorating contest
- Distribute prizes
- Assist Easter Bunny with pictures
- Assist with set up, tear down and clean up
- Face painting
- Tattoos (washable)
- Operate game boards
- Prepare / Serve food & drinks
- Monitor bounce houses
- Assist with set up, tear down and clean up
DONATIONS
The Vickery Meadow Improvement District accepts donations to assist with the many neighborhood needs. We serve as a clearinghouse for many Vickery Meadow Programs and work closely with the schools and area residents. All donations to the Vickery Meadow Improvement District are tax deductible. We are a 501 (C) 3 non-profit organization. Donations can be sent to:
